This look, along with accompanying abstract, was published in 2024 by the International Textile and Apparel Association and was presented at the Association's annual conference in Long Beach, California in November 2024.
The look was made for junior-level class, a project that challenged students to redefine tailoring and create an original suit design. This design plays with ideas about masculinity, power, and villainy, drawing inspiration from historical menswear in the forms of suiting (especially of the Regency era) and ceremonial knight armor.
