Final collection
This four-look conceptual collection is the senior capstone project for baccalaureate fashion design program at the University of North Texas. This genderless collection utilizes voluminous silhouettes to achieve two goals: refuse to conform to binary gender standards of silhouette and conceal the body of the wearer to prevent observers from assigning gender based on perceived body characteristics. All garments are engineered to fit a range of measurements and body shapes in addition to being fit tested on standard menswear and womenswear forms as well as models of various genders. Additional information including research and sources can be found in the Collection Lookbook linked below.
